Singapore, 20 March 2018— Singapore - Building up the local music scene in Singapore has been a key focus for both Audio-Technica (S.E.A) and music lifestyle group, Timbre. With the renewal of this partnership, fans of Timbre can expect more exciting, quality music from the home-grown establishment.
Supporting the local music scene
The collaboration between Audio-Technica (S.E.A) and Timbre Group is not a new one – in fact, it dates back 7 years to 2011, when Audio-Technica sponsored the microphones for the group’s first Mandarin and English pop-rock venue, Switch by Timbre.
Today, continuing as the official microphone for Timbre Group, Audio-Technica will be sponsoring two new venues, Barber Shop by Timbre and Timbre @ Gillman, in addition to its existing sponsorship of Timbre @ The Substation, Timbre @ The Arts House and Switch by Timbre. Each venue will be equipped with the premium Artist Elite® series of vocal microphones, and instrument microphones to capture the heart of the music.
In addition to reaffirming Audio-Technica’s commitment to supporting local talents through continuing the support of Singapore Originals and Xing Chuan (新 创), both highly successful programmes that encourage the growth of independent, original music in the local music scene, Audio-Technica will also be encouraging the “Back to Analog” movement with with the sponsorship of the “Garden Live” Live DJing with Vinyl Records Program at Timbre @ The Substation.
